Influenced by both sound design and screenwriting, L.A.’s indie-psyche duo, Emerald Portal, have released a new cinematic music video for the track “All The Running” off their upcoming EP, Trouble in Paradise, due out this year. Coming from France, Thomas Ouziel met the Greek-born Brad Rundblade while working in the film industry and found the commonality in their passion for both film and music. Having created several music videos for their first LP, Beyond The Edge of Reason, Emerald Portal has collaborated with directors, artists and musicians to expand their influences and collective sound. The touching music video for “All The Running” shows a father and son (played by Rundblade’s real life son) day tripping in the woods as the father struggles with the lyrics to a song. The duo has also received various awards for their music videos from LAIFFA, Orlando Film Festival and Los Angeles CineFest. There is more to come from Emerald Portal in the very near future and we will wait for the goods, which will be undoubtedly good.
