For Stefanie Aka Casiegraphics Art is a Nature-Al Gift
Casiegraphics aka Stefanie Haslberger is a gifted illustrator and artist based in Munich and London. She completed her Diploma in Illustration and Visual Communication at the University of Augsburg, Germany. Since she graduated in 2009, she has been freelancing and working with a number of international clients projects for Pergo, Alfa Romeo, Dudes Factory, Streeticons, Illustrative, Xtinct, United Skateboard Artists, and Arts n’ Boards and has exhibited in several art fairs in many countries.
She has also started illustrating items and clothing, incorporating her designs into tee shirts, sweaters, stoles, and other clothing. Recently she collaborated with Aigle for their Spring Summer Collection 2015.
For Casie art has always been her passion. A love for art runs in the family. Casie’s grandfather was an artist during the informal German after war art revolution in the 40’s and 50’s and he has been a sterling influence on Casie’s art style.
Casie’s style is magnetic and immediately captivating. She draws inspiration from nature, wildlife, and marine-life. Most of her subjects are eagles, foxes, rabbits, deer, and big cats all with intricate detailing. She frequents zoos and aquaria, camera in hand, to capture shots that she can later muse on to bring out the essence of her subjects.
Her use of intricate mosaic like patterns to portray natural textures make her work draw your attention. She uses bold colors and neat line art, drips, and bubble style creating eye catching artwork. The entire outcome is an artwork of symmetry and surprisingly realistic portrayals of the natural world. Her aim is to create beautiful work that will inspire others. She says that her detailed drawings and graphic elements are a fanciful reflection of the rich and diverse textures of animals and nature.
