Low Roar is the current project from California native (now Icelandic resident) Ryan Karazija. The work this multi-talented artist produces redefines the ambient genre as he puts forth dramatic instrumentation with subtle electro-folk style that grabs the attention of all who dare listen to these masterpieces. The crowd at Hollywood’s infamous venue, The Roxy, got a taste of the critically acclaimed artist and found out just how deep the rabbit hole goes.
The set began with moody and dreamy tracks like “Nobody Else” and “I’ll Keep Coming” as Ryan Karazija lulled the crowd into a hypnotic trance as he powered through his collection of esoteric music that had the audience wanting more. The deep sensuous soundscape that Karazija formulated spun enigmatic circles around the stage with the crowd in awe from the three musicians on stage. On stage, Karazija was joined by Leifur Björnsson in keyboard and Logi Guðmundsson on percussion. Low Roar is currently on tour in support of their latest release, Once In A Long, Long While…, and will hit several US cities before their European tour early this summer.
